First General Meeting

HBSA's kickstart general meeting of the fall semester was a great success. Over 100 students showed up to learn what HBSA is about. The meeting ended with an invitation to free tacos out at Dean's Patio. This meeting sure was a great way to start off the semester.
Second General Meeting
Sept. 11th, 2019
HBSA hosted its Second General Meeting by honoring the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month with a Student Showcase. The Showcase featured four student presenters who gave insights and personal accounts of their respective backgrounds living in Venezuela, Spain, Ecuador, and Mexico. Members were able to engage in the meeting with an icebreaker that brought awareness to language barriers, and by crafting cards to veterans, active military members, and first responders as part of a collaboration with Changemaker Central in observance of 9/11.
Third General Meeting
Sept. 25th, 2019
ADP joined the Hispanic Business Students Association for our Third General Meeting to discuss “How to Be Your Most Authentic Self” in and out of the workplace. Members learned how to identify what they value not only in future workplaces but what they value in their lives, as well.
Fourth General Meeting
Oct. 9th, 2019
In preparation for the Fall Career Fair, the Hispanic Business Students Association welcomes Collins Aerospace to give a presentation on ‘Networking 101’ followed by a facilitated mixer to practice their newly acquired career fair skills.
Fifth General Meeting
Oct. 23rd, 2019
Members packed the Memorial Union Mohave room to start their second half of the Fall semester at the Hispanic Business Students Association’s Fifth General Meeting. Kohl’s presented on “Personal Interaction Styles” to teach our members how to better work with their peers and colleagues in and out of the classroom.
